In the girls race, Erin Franklin, Wissahickon,
breaks former teammate Paige Miller's Abington course record,
leading her team to their second invitational win in the first
two weeks of the season with 44 points, 27 ahead of second place
Governor Mifflin and 53 ahead of Haverford. Franklin's time
of 18:34 was 19 seconds ahead of Coatesville's Kelly O'Connell.
Coatesville's boys defeated annual power Paul VI from NY, led
by Rob Robertsons second place 16:02 and Justin Robertson's 6th
place 16:45. Perkionmen Valley's Will Hollister, a 2000 state
XC medallist, took top honors with a 15:57 on the 3.1 mile
course, breaking Robertson's 2000 course record.
