LaSalle (Philadelphia) Explorers' head coach Charles Torpey has confirmed that Archbishop Prendergast graduate, and 1998 Cross Country Footlocker Finalist Sheila Klick has transferred from Villanova, and will be eligible to compete in XC this fall. Klick had experienced ups-and-downs at Villanova, from injuries to an iron deficiency that hurt her performances. Klick only ran the final two races of her senior year at Prendie after coming back from a stress fracture. In both races, she set new course records at Belmont Plateau (since surpassed by Julia Pudlin); then proceeded to finsih 7th in the Northeast Regionals, before getting 20th at Footlockers.
