Public League Relays @ Simon Gratz High School
Monday, April 21, 2003

Just two days off the Father Judge Relays and three days before the first races of the Penn Relays, William Penn had a little important work to fit into their schedule. Taking care of their Public League Relays obligation, and competition. They summarily won seven of nine events, including a 3:49.9 4x400 tune-up over Girls' High, 6.5 seconds back. The lineup switched Kneisha Sheard and Christina Smith from Saturday's order, moving Smith into 3rd, and Sheard to 2nd. Kandis Worthington remained lead-off, with Juanita Broaddus in the anchor spot. Karina Francis replaced Smith in the 4x200 for a 1:42.4 win over Dobbins (1:43.6) and Girls' High (1:43.8). Francis replaced Sheard in the 4x100 which held off Dobbins by a second in 49.3. Central won four of the nine relays for the boys, taking the 4x10 Hurdles and the DMR on the track, and the Triple Jump and Shot Put relays in the field.
