Cardinal O'Hara went to the Big Apple for some holiday competition and came away with a couple of big wins, including the boys' team title. The varsity boys took the 4x800 in 8:10.51 (Mike Callanan hands off to 3rd leg Vince Gravelle, after strong lead-off by Steve Hallinan. Jack Braconnier anchored.-PHOTO BY DYESTAT), were 6th in the DMR with a 10:40.42, plus the Relay Shot Put with 93-03. O'Hara frosh boys (Greg Thomas, Matt Willard, Ryan Nrwland, Matt Berrodin) set a 4x800 meet record in 8:51.98. The Archbishop Prendergast girls were 2nd in the Sprint Medley Relay in 4:19.01 and 5th in the Championship DMR in 13:15.84. The O'Hara boys were also 6th in the Championship DMR, going 10:40.43.
