Juniors Kate Papenberg, Red Lion, and Frances Koons, Allentown Central Catholic, battled in both individual distance races. Papenberg captured the 3200 by two seconds over Koons, going 11:24. In the 1600, both were timed in 5:22, with Papenberg again getting the edge. However, Cedar Cliff soph Janelle Young was timed in 5:18 for the win in the 1600. Lewistown's Emily Lexley was a double winner, taking the 55 Hurdles in 8.4 and the 200 in 27.4. In boys competition, Oley's Zach Fogel cleared 6-04 in the High Jump. And the 4x200 provided a tight finish, with Harrisburg going 1:36.5 to nip 2nd place York by .2 and 3rd place Dallastown by 1.3 seconds. Drew Eckman, Oxford, went 50.2 in the 400 for the victory.
