Very windy, cool, 50 degrees
Great Valley made it a double, winning both the boys
and girls championships. The girls were most impressive, tallying just
19 points by going 1-3-4-5-6 behind the 19:38 of Carolyn Auwaeter, who
was seven seconds up on St. Pius X's Javi Hartensteine. Pottsgrove's Corey
Rogers won the boys race in 16:07. But Great Valley, led by Bill Patchak's
second place 16:15, placed five in the top 12 and seven in the top 15 for
the title with just 33 points.
